This course is designed to provide law enforcement personnel with the basic medical knowledge and skills necessary to mitigate the loss of their life or the life of another while in an active threat situation.

This course is designed to provide Law Enforcement personnel and Civilians with the basic knowledge and skills necessary to mitigate loss of life from traumatic injuries in dynamic and fluid situations. The course is based on the proven principles of Tactical Emergency Casualty Care and the guidelines established by the Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care.
Students will be taught to identify and address life threatening hemorrhages, airway management, Respiratory, Circulation and Head Injuries and other life threatening issues associated with traumatic incidents. Students will be faced with various drills and scenarios designed to ingrain these life saving skills and provide them with the confidence to stop life threatening bleeds and begin immediate treatment of a casualty without waiting for responders. Every student will leave the course better prepared to handle traumatic injuries in real world incidents.
